Boyan Xu
PhD student in Math / Computational Biology
I received my B.S. Mathematics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018. My undergraduate training was in pure mathematics and I have conducted research in topological data analysis and computational neuroscience. I am working on modeling evolution of leucine-rich repeats in plant immune receptors, uncovering metabolic pathways in plants, and developing methods in computational biology.
